Η Ελπίδα Λουπάκη είναι Αναπληρώτρια Καθηγήτρια με γνωστικό αντικείμενο «Περιγραφική Μεταφρασεολογία & Ορολογία» στο Τμήμα Γαλλικής Γλώσσας και Φιλολογίας του ΑΠΘ και μέλος του Εργαστηρίου Μετάφρασης και Επεξεργασίας του Λόγου του ίδιου Τμήματος. Είναι Επιστημονική Υπεύθυνη στο πρόγραμμα Erasmus+ DIALOGOS «Επικοινωνία στις Δημόσιες Υπηρεσίες, Μετάφραση και Διερμηνεία σε Γλώσσες Μικρότερης Διάδοσης» (2022-2025) και συμμετείχε στην ερευνητική ομάδα του Ευρωπαϊκού προγράμματος TRAMIG (2019-2021). Από το 2016, συνεργάζεται με τον ΕΛΟΤ ως επαληθεύτρια ορολογικής και μεταφραστικής εναρμόνισης ενώ την τελευταία δεκαετία έχει συντονίσει πολυάριθμα σχέδια ορολογίας σε συνεργασία με τη Διεύθυνση Μετάφρασης του Παγκόσμιου Οργανισμού Διανοητικής Ιδιοκτησίας (WIPO), τη Γενική Διεύθυνση Μετάφρασης της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής και τη Μονάδα Συντονισμού Ορολογίας του Ευρωπαϊκού Κοινοβουλίου (TermCoord). Εργασίες της έχουν δημοσιευτεί σε ελληνικά και ξένα επιστημονικά περιοδικά, πρακτικά συνεδρίων και συλλογικούς τόμους. Έχει συμμετάσχει σε δύο συλλογικούς τόμους της Δράσης «Ελληνικά Ακαδημαϊκά Συγγράμματα / Κάλλιπος» και έχει μεταφράσει δοκιμιακά έργα από τη γαλλική προς την ελληνική γλώσσα για τις εκδόσεις Πατάκη. Η μονογραφία της με τίτλο Η διαχείριση της ορολογίας στην επαγγελματική μετάφραση: μια σύγχρονη εκπαιδευτική προσέγγιση κυκλοφορεί από τις εκδόσεις Δίαυλος. Είναι μέλος της European Society for Translation Studies, μέλος του ΔΣ της ΕΛΕΤΟ, μέλος της επιστημονικής επιτροπής της ΠΕΜ, καθώς και ιδρυτικό μέλος της ΕΕμ και Πρόεδρος από το 2022.
Mavina Pantazara

Η Μαβίνα Πανταζάρα είναι Αναπληρώτρια Καθηγήτρια στο Τμήμα Γαλλικής Γλώσσας και Φιλολογίας του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών με γνωστικό αντικείμενο «Μετάφραση, ορολογία και γλωσσική τεχνολογία». Η ερευνητική και συγγραφική της δραστηριότητα επικεντρώνεται σε θέματα αντιπαραβολικής μελέτης γαλλικής-ελληνικής, υπολογιστικής γλωσσολογίας, λεξικογραφίας, ορολογίας και μετάφρασης. Έχει συμμετάσχει σε εθνικά και ευρωπαϊκά ερευνητικά έργα αυτόματης επεξεργασίας της γλώσσας, καθώς και στον σχεδιασμό, σύνταξη και επιμέλεια έντυπων και ηλεκτρονικών λεξικών. Έχει μεταφράσει έργα φιλοσοφίας και ψυχανάλυσης από τα γαλλικά (Paul Ricœur, Colette Soler κ.ά.) και είχε την επιστημονική επιμέλεια της συλλογικής μετάφρασης από μεταπτυχιακούς φοιτητές και φοιτήτριες του ΕΚΠΑ του βιβλίου του Michael Cronin Η μετάφραση στην ψηφιακή εποχή (EST Translation Prize 2018). Είναι μέλος του ΔΣ της Ελληνικής Εταιρείας Μεταφρασεολογίας, Αντιπρόεδρος της Ελληνικής Εταιρείας Ορολογίας και Τεχνική Υπεύθυνη, από το 2019, της Επιτροπής ΤΕ21 «Ορολογία – Γλωσσικοί πόροι» του Ελληνικού Οργανισμού Τυποποίησης (ΕΛΟΤ).
Valentini Kalfadopoulou

Valentini Kalfadopoulou is a PhD Candidate at the Department of Foreign Languages, Translation & Interpreting of the Ionian University in Greece. Her research focuses on critical discourse analysis, hatespeech, translation manipulation and far/alt-right translation strategies at large. Her PhD endeavors to compare the Greek far-right to corresponding groups in the United States such as the Oath Keepers, the Proud Boys and the Three Percenters on multiple levels using corpus analysis and CDA.
She has been working in the fields of Translation, Terminology, Localization and Quality Assurance since 1997. From 2004 until recently she was working as a Senior Language Specialist, Terminologist and prompt engineering expert for Oracle EMEA. She has served as a Board Member for the Panhellenic Association of Translators, and is currently serving also as a member on the Board of the Hellenic Society for Terminology (ELETO).
Noula Charalampidou

Parthena Charalampidou holds a PhD in Website Localisation and Translation. She is a Senior Teaching and Research Fellow in the Department of Translation Studies at the School of French, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. She also teaches at the European Master’s in Translation (EMT) Programme “Interpreting and Translation”, Greece, and she is a Research Associate at the Laboratory of Translation and Natural Language Processing, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). Her research interests include semiotic, rhetorical and cultural approaches to translation, as well as localisation of promotional digital genres and application of technology and corpora to multimodal translation. She has published several articles on these subjects in specialised journals such as The Journal of Internationalisation and Localisation, Benjamins and the Journal of Specialised Translation and she is co-editor of “New Perspectives in Media Translation: Transcreation in the Digital Age by Palgrave Macmillan. She is also Treasurer of the Greek Society for Translation Studies and member of the European Society for Translation Studies.
Ada Korda

Dr Diamantoula Korda is working as an
Associate Lecturer in the Department of English Studies in the National
and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Dr Korda’s academic and scholar interests include areas such as
Translation studies, Language and Gender, teaching Greek and English as a
foreign/second language,Τranslation as a teaching tool, etc. She has
published articles in these areas of interest and has participated in many
international conferences around the world (Finland, Belgium, Spain,
France, Czech Republic, U.K., Cyprus, Greece).
Stavros Kozbolis

Stavros Kozobolis is an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Foreign Languages,
Translation and Interpreting at the Ionian University, where he teaches courses in
specialised translation from English to Greek. He has also been a professional
translator and subtitler since 2017. His work focuses primarily on economic and legal
translation, the translation and localisation of magazines and websites, as well as
interlingual and intralingual subtitling.
He has presented his research at several international conferences and has published
peer-reviewed papers in international academic journals. He has also participated in
international and national (Greek) research projects, either undertaking part of their
implementation as a researcher or serving as a project manager.
Finally, he serves as Vice-Chairperson of the Board of the Panhellenic Association of
Professional Translators Graduates of the Ionian University (PEEMPIP), and as a
Member of the Board of the Hellenic Society for Translation Studies.
Konstantinos Kritsis

Konstantinos Kritsis is Assistant Professor of Translation and Interpreting Studies. He has pursued his academic studies and career alongside his professional work as freelance translator and interpreter between Greek, English, and German. His teaching experience includes designing and delivering courses/modules in both disciplines at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level in different academic settings in Europe (Greece, UK) and the Middle East (Oman). His research interests centre on the interface(s) between theatre/acting and translation/interpreting as well as on issues pertinent to cross-linguistic/-cultural discourse analysis.
