Hellenic Society for Translation Studies (HS4TS)
HS4TS was founded in 2009 by 21 academics who participated in the 2nd Congress of Greek speaking Translation Studies experts. HS4TS' official language is Greek.
HS4TS' mission is to facilitate the interaction between professional and academic institutions in the fields of Translation and Interpreting. The Society acts as advisory on matters of training in these fields, while at the same time it endeavors to inform and collaborate with similar initiatives on a national and on an international level.
HS4TS publishes bibliographical resources pertaining to the field of Translation. The Society also participates in the Thessaloniki International Book Fair, in the "Translation Meeting Point" where all related academic institutions and professional translators' and interpreters' associations are also hosted.
